The Strength Workshop delivers sound strength training principles to
make your body more powerful, lean, and useful. Through both
traditional and non-traditional training methods the Strength Workshop
will help you improve strength, posture, balance, power, and the overall
shape and look of your body.


       The human body is built for movement and demands a certain level
of physical activity in order to function optimally. When our daily routines
rob us of the kinds of physical tasks our ancestors had to perform on a
daily basis we become out of balance. Complex hormonal responses
depend on an active body. When we lead a lifestyle that relies heavily
on mental tasks and promotes sedentary behavior, we replace positive
hormonal responses with negative hormonal responses. These
responses include insulin resistance, high cortisol levels and low or
imbalanced testosterone and estrogen levels.

       When we take the time to honor our bodies with meaningful
movements that stimulate strong muscles and bones and elevate the
heart rate on a regular basis we reclaim our bodies ability to function at
its best. The Strength Workshop looks beyond mere weight lifting and
cardio exercises and seeks to help you reclaim your bodies natural
